The Importance of Feedback to Service Quality

How open are you to receiving honest feedback? If we think on it for a while as humans, we are quite open to receiving positive feedback for a number of reasons. But… receiving ‘negative’ feedback? it is a little bit tricky. We would say it depends on how it is delivered. No?

But for many of us who are providing different goods and services, we know how important it is to have good service quality.

What are some ways you can receive feedback both internal and external? Here are a few of ours:

1.       Anonymous mechanisms – more effective for internal feedback

2.       Online Surveys to reach a wider audience

3.       Product or Service reviews for clients and customers – online as well.

4.       Timed assessment (mid-term, end line or continuous)

5.       Focus groups

6.       Set up a specific mechanism for open communication

There are endless ways in which you can design or create your feedback mechanisms it can be simple or complex. Our preference though is simple. Having an openness to receiving and acting on feedback will improve your service quality.

Feel free to reach out to us if you need support.
